Lane Becomes Jacques Cartier

As a part of Lane's Fourth Grade Classwork, he must become a living biography. His character is explorer Jacques Cartier. As his mother I was delighted to hear that Lane would be researching about his character and creating his own Power Point presentation solely at school. he also is required to have a picture for a wanted poster, due on Thursday of last week. I learned all of this on Wednesday. Being the competitive parent, who wishes for success for my children, I slipped into a momentary panic, before setting out to costume supply stores with the boys to find this lovely maroon velvet number complete with a rather large purple feather! It took quite a bit of convincing to get Lane into this costume, but with a little magic from my photo program, I think his picture for his "Wanted" poster turned out nice.
