Tomorrow is D-Day

Ahhhh the joys of owning pets. Recon has been my defender of evil and protector of all things scary. He is the perfect pet, he loves me above all including my sister, which knowing my sister and how she sweet talks kittens, this is an amazing feat! I have said many times that I think he is the perfect man. He loves me, listens to me, and snuggles me no matter how cold my feet are.

Our relationship was great until, he became infested with these blood sucking, invisible, wing less creatures who leave vile black dandruff on his beautiful fur. My skin crawls just thinking about our things, my precious Recon crawling with FLEAS.

So tomorrow is D-Day for the little army of blood suckers. I hope they all die!

Things are Better

Lately I have been incredibly homesick, missing my sister and my brother, my parents, missing my shorties, missing the season change in Washington. Just missing my life. David and I have talked about me being homesick. But he has shown us that he knows how much my family means to me by trying to see as much as we can see on our little journey. It won't always be perfect between us, but we are making it work.
